Cool Off with Summer Cocktails

Tips & Tricks for Frozen Cocktails & Seasonal Flavors

1. Freeze Your Fruit

Skip the ice and freeze your fruit instead! Frozen watermelon, peaches, berries, or mango add texture and bold flavor without watering down your drink.

2. Use Seasonal Produce

  • June–July: Strawberries, rhubarb, cucumbers, herbs (mint, basil)

  • July–August: Peaches, cherries, melons, zucchini (hello, garden gimlets!)

  • August–September: Tomatoes (for savory cocktails), plums, apples, and pears

3. Blend in Small Batches

Frozen drinks blend best when you don’t overload the blender. Stick to single or double servings to keep the texture smooth and icy - not watery or chunky.

4. Sweeten Thoughtfully

Seasonal fruit often brings natural sweetness. Start light on the added sugar (honey, agave, or simple syrup), then taste and adjust. Spring44 Honey Vodka is a great spirit to use if you want to add some sweetness without overdoing it.

5. Chill Your Glassware

Frozen drinks melt fast in the heat. Chill your glasses in the freezer for 10–15 minutes beforehand to keep your cocktails frosty longer.

6. Garnish with Intention

Add edible flowers, herb sprigs, or skewered fruit to elevate your summer drink from casual to cocktail‑bar‑worthy.
